Victory's boldest bike to ever roll off the line!

Baggers are hot! Anyone following the motorcycle scene can¹t have missed this fact. HEAVY DUTY magazine has been running tours to Sturgis for our readers since 1997 and in that time we have seen a lot of changes in the industry. Choppers dominated for a number of years but have now almost vanished from the scene. It¹s baggers, baggers and more baggers.
It seems as if ground up custom bike building has shrunk to a mere shadow of its former prominence and the hot thing is for people to buy stock bikes and customise them, especially baggers.
Well Victory Motorcycles have seen this trend growing and have thrown their hat into the ring with the new Magnum, describing it as ³our boldest bike to ever roll off the line.
While big front wheel baggers are the hottest thing out there, Victory has stopped well short of ruining either the looks or the handling of this model, choosing to go with a 21 inch front wheel, which provides a custom look without sacrificing rideability.
Combined with the larger wheel, the slammed rear end, with its revised linkage, cuts rear suspension travel by an inch and provides a 25.7-inch seat height which gives the feel of sitting in the bike, rather than on it. Challenging the suspension by deliberately heading for bumps, did not reveal any loss of the comfort factor for which Victory¹s baggers are
Audiophiles will love the Magnum¹s sound system, which features an AM/FM radio along with USB and Bluetooth connectivity with a 100-watt amplifier driving six dash-mount speakers.
Customised baggers usually feature trick paint and the style department at Victory have certainly nailed the look with their four multicolour paint options; Metasheen Black over Supersteel Gray, Plasma Lime or Sunset Red over Supersteel Gray and Ness Midnight Cherry.
But the heart of the Magnum is still the Victory¹s 106 cube Freedom V-Twin that delivers 106 ft-lb of torque. It¹s a smooth and efficient counter-balanced and fuel-injected engine and the 6th gear overdrive is a bonus feature. In a word, impressive.
